The Penguins have announced today that they made a trade with a Western Conference team. No names have officially been disclosed, but with Ric Jackman packing his things he's either been traded or placed on waivers and is expecting to be out of Pittsburgh as early as tomorrow.
Jackman had 22 points this season, to go along with a horrible -19 plus/minus rating. The Penguins were openly shopping him around the league for basically anything in return as rookie MA Vlasic, they feel, could take his spot in the lineup. More to come as details are released...
