Pittsburgh, PA
The Penguins have claimed defenseman Kevin Dallman from the Boston Bruins, however chances are he will remain a healthy scratch most of the season unless injuries occur. The Penguins lost Radoslav Suchy on waivers a day earlier to the Wild, and in Dallman they get a younger, cheaper and relatively similiar player.
Dallman has only played one OTHL game this season, going scoreless and only registering a single hit. The Penguins are always glad to pick up a player for nothing and think Dallman could be a stable fixture next season on the 3rd pairing.
