Florida-
Adrian Aucoin sealed his faith when he declined Panthers more than generous offer to retain him in Florida. After Aucoin made his decision it was clear he'd get traded if a solid offer came along and it did today from Calgary Flames. Adrian Aucoin was shopped to Calgary for hard nosed dman Rhett Warrener, a 4th round pick and a bag of pucks. Warrener started his career in Florida as it was a well known fact GM JL has always been a fan of the hard nosed dman.
"I made him a more than generous contract offer but he wanted Iginla type money. I'm really happy to acquire Rhett i've been after him since the league started. Rhett is Aucoin minus the puck skills and a bit harder too than Aucoin" Panthers GM
