In a not so surprising move, the Colorado Avalanche have finally reached an agreement with Oleg Tverdovsky to bring him back to North America. He has signed a 3 year deal, and joined the team, playing in his 2nd game today.
"We had some trouble with the Russian Federation. They are still using Commodore 64 technology, and emails were being lost and delayed. But he is here now, and we are happy to have him." said GM Russell.
With the signing of Tverdovsky, this gives the Avs a solid top 6 on the back end, led by Kim Johnsson and veteran Patrice Brisbois.
