December 10, 2005 - After a few days off and several games with an anemic offense, the Dallas Stars rode into Calgary and exploded for 5 goals. The Stars defense, and goaltender David Aebischer also dominated the game, not allowing a goal.

The Stars took control of the game early, with Gary Roberts' 11th goal of the season, scored at 3:04 in the first, on the powerplay. Wade Redden and Trent Hunter assisted.

In the second period, the Stars offense found the mark three times. It started early with Mike Leclerc scoring, assisted by Wes Walz, returning from a 2-game suspension.

Just past midway through the period, Vitali Vishnevski scored (3rd of the season), assisted by Fredrik Modin and Jaromir Jagr. This was the team's 2nd powerplay goal.

Near the end of the 3rd period, Trent Hunter got on the scoresheet again, this time with a goal, assisted by Gary Roberts.

Dallas kept the momentum in the 3rd period taking a total of 17 shots, but only scoring once. Manny Malhotra scored his 1st of the season, another powerplay goal.

Calgary played an undisciplined game leading to a total of 11 powerplay opportunities for the Stars.
