December 1, 2005 - Trending downward of late, the Dallas Stars' offense hit rock bottom last night against the Minnesota Wild - getting shutout at home in Dallas and generating a measly 22 shots. The Stars lost the game 2-0.

Coach Murray said, "I'm not pleased at all with our performance tonight. The guys didn't play to win. We went on a bit of a winning streak, guys got confident and then they stopped trying. Now they're not generating any offense whatsoever and you can't win if you don't score."

Numerous players continued to fall into slumps, including the likes of Jeremy Roenick, Trent Hunter and even Jaromir Jagr whose been near-invisible in the last few games.

The game was a bit of a rough one with Minnesota taking 7 penalties. Amazingly, it was two Dallas Stars players that were ejected - Chris Neil and Wes Walz. Walz was served with a 2-game suspension for beating the snot out of Matthew Spiller. This is actually Walz's second suspension of the year, and it comes at a bad time.

The team now has 4 days before their next game against Anaheim.
