In what has been a rather lackluster season in regards to rookies this season in the OTHL, it hasn't taken young Jared Aulin long to grab the spotlight.
Only dressed for half the season, Aulin has turned it on lately, bringing his totals to 15 points, which would easily translate to 30+ over a full season, no easy feat for a rookie in today's OTHL.
What may be even more surprising, is the strides the young winger has made in other aspects of his game. Being a +7 on a team that is in the bottom 10 in the league, is nothing short but amazing. He has tremendously improved his defensive and gritty game, which was once seen as his ultimate downside. As for the future, only time will tell.
