Minnesota Cautiously Moves Forward

Rod Edwards

GM, Minnesota Wild

With the insursion of Oleg Kvasha onto a line with Jason Arnott, and the dynamic play of all Minnesota players this month, Minnesota now sits within a playoff position. Daymond Langkow and Chris Osgood both are to be glorified in Wild tribute for all eternity with their play in particular with Daymond getting POTM honours and Chris just getting nudged out by another goaltender. As said in the title of this topic, we are cautiously optimistic about our forward progress up the standings. These things have a way of biting you in the ass when you toot your horn to much, so we will take the subtle approach and just say how pleased we are and hope our team finds its way to a spot in which they deserve. Sean Burke has since taken over the goaltending reigns for the team. We have no reason to pull Chris from the starting spot at all, we just feel that he could use a good rest and Sean gives us no reason to feel like he is a number 2. We believe he too can be a dominant goalie and therefore will have the chance to ride the wave of sucess as long s he can.
