Florida-
Ok.. It's just 8 games into the season but Panthers are 4-1-1-2. Not bad for a team many predicted to finish near bottom in the league. The season is still early and Panthers actually really are a mess. They can only thank MVP goalie Roberto Luongo for this record. Weight, Mogilny and the other big guns have been firing blanks and noone looks to know what defense means on this team. Luongo is getting bombed with 34 shots average per game yet he has posted an GAA under 2 and save% of 93.7. Panthers need to patch up there defense and get there big rollers rolling.
Solutions
Trade balooza? Dont be shocked if this soon happens in Florida. There GM is known for trading big name players not to mention lesser names. Nobody is safe in Florida. Except Luongo and Doug Weight ofcourse. Who might be moved? Bigger names such as Michael Ryder, Olli Jokinen, Paul Mara, Derek Morris, Geoff Sanderson could be traded. It is very unlike Panthers will move Alexander Mogilny. Newcomer Brian Rolston has been terrific for Panthers he will most likely stay too.
Look out for the Panthers GM. If they dont turn there defensive and offensive game around soon heads will fall.
